We are having a book launch party for See Us, Know Us: Profiles of Disability. The book profiles 30 diverse individuals who have disabilities. 6 of the people profiled are DLC members. The event would consist of me talking about how the book came to be, reading excerpts, letting those other DLC members talk about their experience of being part of this book project and answering questions. Books would be available for purchase and half of the proceeds would be donated to the DLC.
